Michigan football quarterback Davis Warren reveals injury sustained in ReliaQuest Bowl game vs. Alabama was torn ACL, hints towards return to Wolverines in 2025

Michigan QB Davis Warren said he suffered a torn ACL in the third quarter of Michigan’s ReliaQuest Bowl win over Alabama. Warren posted a picture of himself in a leg brace to social media on Saturday. Warren left the game and didn’t return after he was sacked near the sideline. He was replaced for the rest of the game by backup Alex Orji.

Michigan quarterback Davis Warren tore his right ACL in the ReliaQuest Bowl on New Year's Eve, he disclosed on social media. The Wolverines defeated Alabama 19-13, and Warren was 9-of-12 passing for 73 yards and a touchdown before the injury in the bowl game.

Michigan quarterback Davis Warren ended his 2024 on a high note—but it came at a cost. In a Saturday afternoon social media post, Warren revealed that he tore his ACL during the Wolverines' 19–13 win over No. 11 Alabama in the ReliaQuest Bowl on Thursday.

"Can’t wait to battle to be back on the field with my guys in AA and go blue." Davis Warren said he tore his ACL but will return to Michigan football.
