Monster Hunter Wilds continued its massive launch into the weekend with the second-most players on Steam, helping propel the Valve-owned storefront to a new record-breaking 40 million concurrent users.

Without reassurance from Capcom about Monster Hunter Wilds' poor PC performance, modders have taken it upon themselves to fix the problem.

Monster Hunter Wilds is visually impressive, but it struggles in densely packed areas and is a complete non-starter on Steam Deck.
