If you listen closely, it feels like you can hear the jingle of plastic and metal for Nintendo’s next console as its manufactured and assembled in faraway factories. You can almost sense its launch lineup coming into focus as the company’s developers prepare to put their finishing touches on whimsical new experiments.

It's been over 7-and-a-half years since Nintendo launched the original Switch console. I can hardly believe it's been so long, but there have been a bunch of hardware launches since too – from the Switch Lite to the Switch OLED upgrade.

Although Nintendo has yet to unveil its Switch successor, a couple of games are already supposedly slated to launch on the new system.
