The actor had to undergo an emergency surgery. Doctors say he is “out of danger". He may be discharged from the hospital by Monday.

A man thought to be a citizen of Bangladesh was arrested in India's financial capital Mumbai on Sunday and is considered the prime suspect in the stabbing of Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan, police said.

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan is currently undergoing treatment at Mumbai`s Lilavati Hospital following a stabbing incident at his Bandra residence in the early hours of January 16. His sister Soha Ali Khan said that he is "recovering well".
