The free refills will be served in coffee mugs, glasses, or a clean personal cup brought from home and are only available on the same visit at one store. The refills excludes Cold Brew and Nitro Cold Brew, Iced Tea Lemonade, flavored Iced Tea and Starbucks Refreshers® base. Initial purchase must be made in a reusable cup or “for-here” serveware.

Starbucks' policy requiring purchases in order to use restrooms or hang out at the coffee shops began today. The chain's free refills era also starts.

Starbucks has just announced plans to make some stern changes to its cafes beginning the end of this month and customers have a lot to say about the shift. According to an announcement made on the coffee shop's website,

The new policies come as part of a push by Starbucks' new chairman and CEO, Brian Niccol, to reinvigorate the chain's sagging sales. Niccol has said that he wants Starbucks to recapture the community coffeehouse feeling it used to have, before long drive-thru lines, mobile order backups and other issues made visits more of a chore.

Starbucks brings back free refills and condiment bar, the latest attempt to return to its pre-COVID practicies. Plus, there are new menu items coming in March.

Several policies are returning to Starbucks' locations in United States and Canada, including free refills, as well as milk and sugar stations.
