Stephen King is one of the most-adapted authors of all time so it stands to reasons that some of the film remakes might take a liberty or two over time. The latest adaptation of the King of Horror - "The Long Walk" - makes some pretty major changes to the story's climax but it is far from the first.

Stephen King has repeatedly apologized for a false accusation he made about conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who was fatally shot at a college campus in Utah on Sept. 10.

So when Mr. Kirk was shot and killed Wednesday at Utah Valley University, national attention turned, as it often has in tumultuous times, to the American university.

The second person who stepped forward to debate Mr. Kirk would be the last person to speak with him.
