Amazon is rolling out a game-changing expansion that could make Prime membership even more essential, especially for shoppers outside major cities. The retail giant announced it will extend same-day and next-day delivery to over 4,000 smaller cities, towns, and rural communities across the U.S. by the end of the year.

Amazon announced it will be expanding its same-day and next-day delivery to more than “4,000 smaller cities, towns, and rural communities.” The expansion will happen by the end of the year, the company said in a news release.
