Residents advised to boil water after utility work caused pressure to drop below safe levels; testing underway.

The Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans, in consultation with the Louisiana Department of Health, has canceled the precautionary boil water advisory for limited parts of Orleans East.

The district lifted the advisory after it received the all-clear from the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals’ Office of Public Health.
