Shawn D. Zimmerman Jr, 19, of High Point, died at the scene and a Greensboro man was taken to the hospital and is in critical condition.

According to the High Point Fire Department, firefighters were called to Johnson Street shortly after midnight. After arriving, firefighters observed flames and smoke coming from the home.
