Houston Texans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair says he was in a “really dark place” and wondered if he’d ever play football again in the days after he was suspended for three games for his hit on Jacksonville’s Trevor Lawrence that left the quarterback with a concussion.

Jacksonville Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence spoke about the concussion that helped end his season and the hit by Houston Texans LB Azeez Al-Shaair.

Jacksonville Jaguars' quarterback Trevor Lawrence met with the media on Thursday and part of that conversation centered around his shoulder injury. Lawrence was at the podium with a sling on his left shoulder after undergoing surgery.
