In Iceland, a small toy dating to the Viking Age was uncovered by archaeologists. It is one of over 100 similar gaming pieces that have been found during excavation.

The third activity is an ice excavation. Freeze small toys in a water bowl and have kids chip away at the ice to uncover the toys. It encourages problem-solving and fine motor skills.
