It isn’t entirely out of the question that Lindor could even play in today’s game with the Phillies (probably as a designated hitter in order to limit any extra strain on his back), but both Lindor and the Mets are naturally trying to be cautious in trying to prevent any greater injury.

Mets right-hander Kodai Senga could return as early as next Friday in Milwaukee if he emerges well from Saturday's rehab start, but Francisco Lindor's status is a bit hazier.
