It was revealed during season 1 of “Severance” that Gemma died in a car accident. While it’s possible that Lumon faked Gemma’s death so she could be employed full-time on the severed floor as Ms. Casey, another theory is that Lumon somehow resurrected Gemma.

As someone who was literally begging anyone who would listen to me to watch this show back when it first came out, it's so cool to see the excitement around this new season and to have so many people to share theories and observations with about this mysterious and important show.
