Kolkata’s yellow taxis have taken a new avatar. After the old fleet of iconic yellow taxis being phased out, a new model of yellow cabs has been rolled out to bridge the gap.

Yellow Cab, central Iowa’s largest taxi transportation provider, now is serving the Quad Cities, according to a news release.

Six cabs are available for booking, and company officials said they plan to add more if there is a need to do so.
