The University of Rhode Island plans to open its W. Alton Jones Campus in West Greenwich back up to the public.

She recently returned after a two-game absence due to an injury to the same ankle. Jones, who joined the Liberty in 2023, was named WNBA Finals MVP last season after winning her first championship.

Jones exited Thursday’s game with two points, four rebounds and one block in nine minutes of action. Now the Liberty will wait to see the severity of the star engine’s ankle injury.
