The second Emmys of 2024 have come and gone, with streamers once again winning big for some of our favorite television shows. Disney had a fantastic night, winning 60 awards across all its platforms, including Hulu and Disney+. Hulu's limited series Shogun led it to victory with 18 wins — 14 at the Creative Arts Emmys and four on Sunday.

On Sunday, the FX series "Shogun" won the Emmy for Best Drama, marking the first time a non-English-language series has claimed the award in this category.

Shogun had a clean sweep at the 2024 Creative Arts and Primetime Emmy Awards. The series created history scoring 18 awards this year after being launched on OTTs such as Hulu and Disney Plus earlier this year on February 27, 2024.

FX’s drama “Shōgun” headed into the Primetime Emmys, having already broken the record for most wins in one season at the Creative Arts Emmys last weekend. Now, it’s extended its record even further with 18 total wins.
