Tim McGraw is out of Netflix‘s upcoming bull riding series, in which he was set to star and executive produce. The drama is now set to undergo recasting. As reported by Deadline, the actor-musician is stepping down from the role pending new orthopedic surgery.

The country singer-turned-actor was meant to take the reins in a rodeo series for Netflix, however, it was just announced that he is stepping down from the show for his health.

Tim McGraw will no longer headline Netflix's upcoming rodeo series. A source said that he needed to undergo back surgery which requires recovery time.

Tim McGraw will not be grabbing the bull by the horns any time soon — at least not for Netflix. The 57-year-old country star, who most recently appeared in Yellowstone and its prequel series 1883, was set to star in a new rodeo drama on Netflix.
