Botanists have discovered a new giant water lily with lily pads that can grow to nearly 10 feet wide. Researchers previously thought there were only two species of giant water lilies.

Victoria boliviana is the world’s biggest known water lily species, with leaves growing to nearly 10 feet wide in the wild, according to a news release from the gardens in Kew, west London.
