Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday declared his intention to take control of the entire Gaza Strip. "We will take control of all areas of the Gaza Strip," he said in a video released on Telegram without elaborating further.

Meanwhile, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer tells Parliament he is "horrified by the escalation from Israel" in its Gaza offensive.

The prime minister's statement came after Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich called for Netanyahu to "show leadership" to the public.
