Yamaha has updated the R1 for 2025 with a slew of humble yet noteworthy features. These include MotoGP-derived winglets, new fully adjustable KYB suspension at both ends and an updated braking setup with Brembo Stylema monoblocks.

Yamaha YZF-R1 and R1M boast new carbon-fibre winglets for enhanced downforce and stability. Both models include upgraded suspension, Brembo brakes, and a powerful 998 cc engine.

Yamaha YZF-R1 and YZF-R1M have been unveiled in International markets. The superbike has received a few yet notable changes, both visually and mechanically.

Let us establish the baseline: the 2025 Yamaha YZF-R1 retails for a base price of $18,699, so the motorcycles in question all need to have a base price lower than that. Or at the very least not exceed it by more than a couple of hundred dollars.

The n 2025 Yamaha YZF-R1 will be available in Team Yamaha Blue or Matte Raven Black and will begin arriving to dealers in November for $18,999 MSRP. The Yamaha YZF-R1M will be available in Carbon Fiber and will begin arriving to dealers in March for $27,699 MSRP.
