Rivian CEO R.J. Scaringe told the AJC in early March he’s committed to bringing the factory to Georgia.

RJ Scaringe, 38, founded the company in his home state of Florida in 2009, not long after completing his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
