Jemaal Muhammad, 20, was charged with two felony counts of robbery, one felony count of robbery with an indication of a firearm, and one misdemeanor count of theft.

Chicago police are searching for five suspects linked to two violent robberies on the CTA Red Line that occurred minutes apart.

The group approached passengers riding on the Red Line late at night Dec. 20 and Dec. 29 between the Cermak and 95th Street stops and demanded their property, Chicago police said.

In each incident, police say a group of four males and one female approached CTA Red Line train passengers and “aggressively” battered them while taking their personal belongings. Incident dates and locations include: Anyone with information may submit an anonymous tip at CPDTIP.
