LAWRENCE — Kansas State football continues to own the state after emerging with a 42-17 win over in-state rival Kansas to win its 17th-consecutive Sunflower Showdown rivalry game. The Wildcats still haven't lost the rivalry matchup since 2008.

The Big 12 announced the kickoff time and TV channel for the Sunflower Showdown rivalry game between Kansas State and Kansas for Saturday, Oct. 25, at David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium in Lawrence. The Wildcats and Jayhawks will kick off at 11 a.m., and the game will be televised on TNT.

BYU women's volleyball takes on the Kansas State Wildcats Friday in Smith Fieldhouse at 6 p.m. The Cougars will prepare to bounce back after falling to the unranked UCF Knights on Wednesday night, 3-1.
