Kaden Feagin rushed for 100 yards and a touchdown and Ca’Lil Valentine ran for 63 yards and a TD. Hank Beatty caught six passes for 53 yards and a TD.

A game that had all the makings of being a potential blowout turned out to be a tighter contest than expected in the first half, as Illinois was only able to build up to a 10-0 lead.
The No. 9 Illinois Fighting Illini will look to continue their hot start to the 2025 college football season, hosting the Western Michigan Broncos in Week 3. Last year, Illinois finished 10-3, defeating the South Carolina Gamecocks in the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl.
