Aaron Rodgers was supposed to pilot the Jets to a Super Bowl. Instead, the captain and his crew never left the terminal. The dark skies that have hung over the organization since winning Super Bowl 3 in 1969 don't seem to be going anywhere,

They are 3-7 through their first 10 games of 2024 after a 31-6 faceplant against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 10. The 25-point defeat was their worst loss of the season as their Aaron Rodgers-led attack totaled its fewest points (six) and yards (207) in any game this season.

Rodgers, who turns 41 in December, has repeatedly voiced a desire to continue playing for the Jets beyond this year. The four-time MVP has publically stated that he wants to extend his career " two or three or four " more seasons. However, New York's struggles are ostensibly waning on him.
