Elijah Caudill, 24, has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder in connection with the stabbing deaths of Celinda Levno and Nicholas Burkett.

Nicholas Burkett, 34, was pronounced dead from a stab wound at Denver Health at about 9:38 p.m. Sunday, Denver Office of the Medical Examiner officials said in a news release.

Nicholas Burkett was one of four people stabbed at random at the Denver mall last weekend. Burkett and a second victim, Celinda Levno, died.

The man killed on Sunday has been identified as Nicholas Burkett. The two other victims — a 62-year-old man and a 49-year-old man — sustained injuries that were not life-threatening.

The Denver Office of the Medical Examiner announced Wednesday that Nicholas Burkett, 34, died because of a stab wound. The manner of his death was determined to be a homicide.
