WASHINGTON — Powerball players in two states won Saturday’s massive jackpot and will split an estimated $1.787 billion after more than three months of drawings without winners. The winners, in Missouri and Texas, could also choose to take part of the cash payout, valued at approximately $826.4 million.
Powerball tickets sold in Michigan, Oregon, Texas and Wyoming matched five winning numbers and the Power Play multiplier to win $2 million each in the Wednesday, Sept. 3 drawing, the national Powerball site said.
