It's been a little more than 10 years since Riot Games shared the first anthem for the League of Legends World Championship, Imagine Dragons' 2014 track "Warriors." The song from the then-rising band spearheaded a decade of epic music collaborations crowning League of Legends‘ biggest competitive moments.

Riot Games announced global music superstars Linkin Park will sing an anthem at the next big League of Legends event.

If you've gotten all excited about Linkin Park making a return, and are still powering through 2AM ranked games in League of Legends, you may be excited to hear that these two interests are coliding tomorrow. This is thanks to this year's Worlds anthem which has been created by the band.

American rock band Linkin Park will perform the 2024 League of Legends World Championship anthem. Game developer Riot Games recently confirmed the news in a post following weeks of speculation surrounding the band’s potential involvement.

At their Sept. 22 show in Hamburg, Germany, Linkin Park debuted “Heavy Is the Crown,” the second new song off their forthcoming album, From Zero. Stylistically, it’s another offering that should please fans of the band’s early material.
