Poland’s foreign minister has suggested that NATO states should consider imposing a no-fly zone over Ukraine to protect the alliance’s territory and people from Russian drones.
The idea of establishing a no-fly zone over Kyiv’s airspace was originally pitched by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky after Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022.
Crew members aboard the Admiral Golovko, a frigate with the Northern Fleet, fired a Zircon missile at a sea target in the Barents Sea, Russia's government said on Sunday. The Admiral Golovko has been known to carry Zircon missiles for several years.
