My strategy for Ethiopia was Admin focus, +2 inquisitor from clergy, -10% coring as first holy site buff and rush Religious/Deus Vult (while waiting for the ahead of time to tick to 0%). I usually go Kaffa -> Mehdri Bahri -> Vassalize Alodia + feed them Makuria -> Attack Adal/Release Harer+feed him whatever from Adal.
Advice on how to unify and modernise Ethiopia relatively early?
Aug 16, 2023 · Ethiopia doesn't have any industrial resources. So there is relatively little you can do economically without expanding aggressively. Just declare war on neighbors one by one and fight your way to the sea. Once there, build a navy to secure some mines for industrialization. In the meantime colonize what you can.

Sep 29, 2022 · I have colonial police. resistance average is 70 and compliance average is 40. I need 60. However, I electrified ethiopia already. Compliance doesn't grow due to the colonial police modifier but resistance also doesn't grow, so if I switch I will prob face a revolt.

Jul 30, 2022 · Here is 411 on e-visas/visa on arrival. When Ethiopia was under a state of emergency there was no visa on arrival from most countries especially the US. That rule has been lifted every since and you can get visa on arrival. The problem is with communication. Airlines are still enforcing the no visa on arrival rule unaware that it has been lifted.
