I think it would be better if you threw swords while gliding but swung the sword like a regular sword while on the ground. You would have the same damage of your super on the ground, as you would if you were throwing the blades. Also any applicable perks for Dawnblade would work while on the ground as well. Warlocks have the entire market when it comes to burst speed though. Dawnblade with sword gliding is stupid fast and covers distance faster and better than skating. But on it's own it's still got good movement due to icarus dash. Each subclass for warlock also has movement options. Dawnblade has icarus dash in and out of super plus phoenix dive.
