After you've listened to the voice mail it will give you the options to 1 listen again 2 save 3 delete. You have to listen to the whole voice mail to delete it. If you save the voice mail, to delete it you again have to listen to the whole voice mail. I had to call lively to find this out which shows how stupid I am about this stuff.
