Lynwood Community Adult School (LCAS) has served the citizens of Lynwood and those surrounding our city for over 60 years and takes great pride in assisting them with the achievement of their career, educational, and personal goals.

Lynwood Community Adult School (LCAS) was established on October 23, 1953, and opened as an Adult School in 1954. The first classes offered were sewing, cooking and homemaking (home economics?). Later, in 1955, academic classes leading to a high school diploma were added.
