Finally, I tried the QMS plugin, which provides satellite images from 2016. Is it proper to use an older satellite and attribute the current data providers or should I do something else?

May 20, 2019 · Whatever you can find in historical imagery is all Google has. They buy the images from commercial satellite imagery providers. You may be able to go to those same providers to see what might be available. The possibility of images for a particular date is low.
