Over the last two centuries, it has grown into a premiere performing arts organization, a patron for the arts and comedy, and an advocate for satire and discourse as tools for change worldwide.

Harvard granted theatre space to the Hasty Pudding in 1876, opening the shows to a general audience. The space was a dingy little building on the edge of the athletic field that the club secretary, Theodore Roosevelt, referred to as “the shed.”

History – The Hasty Pudding Institute of 1770
In April 2013, the Pudding celebrated the 125th anniversary of its ancestral home, located in the middle of the Harvard campus at 12 Holyoke Street. With the exception of its famous neo-Georgian façade, today’s theater has seen a lot of change since it was first erected in 1888.

Hasty Pudding Theatricals will be returning to Bermuda this coming March 2025! Come see the group perform at Earl Cameron Theater at Hamilton City Hall on March 19th, 20th, and 21st at 6:30pm, 8pm and 8pm. Tickets on sale soon.
This Year’s Honorees – The Hasty Pudding Institute of 1770
The Hasty Pudding Theatricals will host a celebratory roast for Mr. Keoghan at 7:00pm and present him with his Pudding Pot at Farkas Hall, the Pudding’s historic home in the heart of Harvard Square since 1888. A press conference will follow the roast at 7:20pm.
