Sep 29, 2022 · I bought a Vive Pro 2 to upgrade from my Quest 2 and the Quest 2 was just just a straight up better headset, for £1000 less. The lenses in the Vive Pro 2 were atrociously bad. I have a Reverb G2 which I much prefer to the Quest 2 for seated PCVR, especially MSFS, but prefer the Quest 2 for everything standing.

Sep 27, 2023 · I don't know that I would actually recommend the Pimax Crystal to anyone but an enthusiast, but with mine I have a 4090 and 13700k, so generally get close to 90 fps most of the time in MP, where I do 95% of my flying. Even at that resolution I don't see IL-2 getting much clearer in any expected headset.

It uses the Windows Mixed Reality eco system, but also works with Steam VR but theres a number of different apps you would need to download to get it all up and running.
