Jul 18, 2010 · Carhartt boots are made by redwing and always have been. The difference is that Carhartt boots are assembled in China (of US made parts), Redwings are made in US. Both brands are comfortable, both are too heavy for me. I can not find a boot to last me more than 10 months. Carhartt, Redwings, Wolverines all last the same duration for me.

Jul 16, 2007 · dewalt BEVEL boots - Nice and comfortable but the back of the ankle area wore out and so only lasted about 2months. The damn laces started to go too! dickies tradition safety boot - Lasted me a good year but then the steel toe cap started to show and it was time to replace.

May 11, 2019 · Good work boots/shoes are the most important article of clothing you can invest in. I've tried cheap boots in the past and they either fall apart, are incredibly uncomfortable or both. I've heard lots of good things about Danner boots as well. I also have a pair of Ariat boots that I've had for 5-6 years.

Sep 25, 2015 · This thread made my feet hurt so I went out and got some new boots. Went for thorogood with a wedge sole. They're the most comfortable boot i think I've ever put on my feet. I think I actually smiled when I put them on. I'm curious to see how they hold up, but they are also the cheapest pair of boots I've bought in a while too.

Jun 25, 2007 · My feet are killing me, I need a great comfort boot. I work on a concrete pad every day. I tried wolverine durashocks, multishox , with gel inserts. Nothing seems comfortable. I hobble around everyday and can't wait to get off work so I take them damn things off. I think I need to go to a podiatrist ( foot doctor).

Feb 1, 2022 · Most comfortable boots I've owned, and I can get two seasons out of them. I have a pair that is going on season 4, but they are shot....just extremely comfy so I still wear them from time to time. No amount of treatment can keep my boots from cracking where the crease is, the concrete just wears them out right there.
