Aug 27, 2023 · I have a Legion 5. I bought it in Jan 2020ish. Mine came with an i5-10400f 8gb 2666mhz ram 1660 super 500w 80+ gold PSU and 256gb nvme + 1 TB HDD. I paid $729 USD. Things I have upgraded: gpu twice, PSU twice. Added another 8gb ram. That being said at this point my next upgrades will be a new mobo, CPU, and ram probably to am5 and ddr5.

Nov 16, 2023 · Legion Tower 5i 8th Gen, I7, RTX 4070. Question. In Bios, (most up to date) i can not change memory settings. I tried to swap in Corsair DDR5 32Gb set that cause a no boot and the 3 beeps followed by a long beep. Swapped back to factory ram and no issues. Factory ram is rated at 5600MHZ but runs at 4400mhz. Corsair Ram is also 5600MHZ.

Id recommend checking under the GPU, or below the GPU, it looks the same as on any other motherboard, a port for m.2 nvme, perhaps its covered by a heatsink. Did you ever find a solution. Sway the second ssd insert is under the graphics card there should be a area to put it in then a screw to unscrew then rescrew 😄.
