Jan 11, 2012 · Use any Japanese automotive coolant like Toyota long life, or the super long life Toyota coolants with Organic Acids (OAT) as corrosion inhibitors. Sep 5, 2021 · thank you for the responses. I do love my bikes. I use regular Honda coolant but usually high quality brake fluid. I guess changing both in 2 years intervals should be good enough. I don't put too many miles on the bike, because I drive several bikes. In India I have access to ICE coolant so I use that one.

Mar 10, 2024 · So imho you need to drain, flush with something, drain, and then fill. Distilled water as a flush seems ok but does make me a bit nervous about diluting the new coolant. I used Engine Ice coolant and have zero complaints, but some people claim it doesn't actually cool the engine as well as other formulations. 🤷‍♂️

May 10, 2020 · Have no idea about the product you posted. But my last 3 bikes when it was time to change the coolant. I flushed the system with a vinegar water mixture then flushed it again with distilled water then filled it wit Motul Motocool Organic. The Motocool is a little pricey but well worth it..I like it also because its pink in color and easy to see...

Nov 28, 2018 · The oil cools the internals for those 2 minutes. Similarly, piston aircraft should be gently cooled to avoid thermal shock damage. Liquid cooled motorcycle engines are different, but I still back off the power for the last couple of minutes before shutdown if the engine is hot, e.g. summer highway riding.
