Jul 7, 2020 · As far as MTG goes, the consistency of Magic booster-packs has been solid for ages (following the same "Pseudo-logo prominent up top, flashy graphics at mid, set name prominently at bottom, booster info below that." template that you see on MTG, Pokemon, etc. boosters).
Copyright question regarding using MTG Logos and Symbols
Dec 7, 2016 · Yeah, WotC's IP lawyers will probably only periodically sweep around for things. But if you brand your app with a big ole MTG logo, they'll try and knock you off the store. In a nutshell: if you go ahead you won't get sued but they'll try and knock your stuff off the App Store if it's blatant. Just know that you'll be in the wrong.

Oct 8, 2017 · When looking at a logo, you shouldn't evaluate it based on the lens flares or the colors, but rather, the shapes. A logo should be able to appear in any color and be recognizable (think rainbow Planeswalker pins vs mono-color). Based on that, I do think the Planeswalker logo is solid. Don't love it, but it works as a logo.

Apr 26, 2021 · As a returning player this set it was baffling and even after googling it all I found was a throwaway line in the press release about how strixhaven has "cards from magic's history" (which especially for strixhaven could be mistaken for just famous reprints in strixhaven or mystical archives).

From the other articles linked in the thread, the Planeswalker logo isn’t the Chain Veil. You have it backwards. It would, however, be correct to say that the Chain Veil is made in the image of the Planeswalker symbol. In universe, the Chain Veil was designed AFTER Planeswalkers made their first walks between planes.
