May 4, 2023 · Frieren in turn defeated the DK with her party, and was able to usher in a peaceful era because (among other things) she wasn’t as bloodthirsty as Serie, who has a very militant view of things, a complete contrast to the often SoL tone of Frieren’s adventures.

Serie is just a childish adult like Frieren said, both are childish. The diffrence is Frieren wants Fern to experience magic and its other application. Serie literally fought Macht and totally outclassed him. She could have easily killed him, but her disciples stopped her because if she destroyed Macht, they would never find a way to turn the golden city back to normal. It makes a lot of sense with the Series stuff. Serie taught Flamme and Flamme taught Frieren a technique to conceal mana to 1/10. So Serie most likely has 10 times what we saw which is a bit over what Frieren's max is right now. So if Frieren is a 10, Serie is at least a 100 in terms of Mana.

Serie looks older than Frieren in a few areas. While frieren's body is essentially 15-16 on human terms, Serie seems about 18 or maybe as high as 21, with a notable degree of chest on some of the shots, but admittedly, still a bit of a baby-face.

On the other hand Flamme raised Frieren, who defeated a DK (impossibe even for Serie herself), and Frieren raised Fern, who is better than her Master in some ways despite young age. And Fern's future disciples would definitely be better, than herself.
