Shipping dates for my phone were late October, or I could pick up the phone at the Apple Store 4 minutes from my home on launch day....

Dec 7, 2009 · I'd check the Apple Store app in the morning; there is placeholder text there now that says something like "Check back on 9/20 for in-store pickup availability" when you try to configure and buy an iPhone. I suspect most unclaimed inventory will go to people who purchase for in-store pickup via the site or app tomorrow morning.

Friend of mine broke the back glass on his iPhone recently, asked for a replacement iPhone. store worker said he should be replacing the back glass, ended up giving him a replacement phone instead. Didn’t have the same luck with my iPhone 12 Pro Max, had to wait 3 hours for a screen replacement. ?

May 6, 2008 · These were at two separate times, with different employees, albeit at the same Apple store location, and both were accepted at the quoted full trade-in value (which I had looked up prior to going into the store). The employees spent the most time doing a quick software/diagnostic-type check to make sure it turned on, etc. and functioned normally.

I have walked in and made purchases in the Downtown Apple Store. I have also placed an order for pickup and no issues. Buy in Portland and save on sales tax.

Jan 5, 2025 · (forgive the screwed up formatting above, I'm not very good at that either) When I get to Step 2, I go to my WIFI setting on my iPhone (SE v2 w/latest iOS), there is no "SETUP NEW AIRPLAY SPEAKER" section; I see the main section with the On/Off slider, a My Network section, a Other Networks section, and Ask to join Networks/Hotspot section; nothing else.
