Focusing on sin is not how we overcome sin. The more we live consumed with rules, regulations, and trying not to sin, the more we find ourselves struggling. Scripture tells us that the law actually arouses sinful passions (Romans 7:5), but sin will not have dominion over us because we are not under law, but under grace (Romans 6:14). Grace is not permission to sin it is what teaches us to live differently (Titus 2:11–12). It is God’s influence upon our hearts, reflected in the way we live. When

I don’t harp on repentance because in the New Covenant repentance isn’t a guilt driven ritual to get re-cleansed and re forgiven, it’s mind renewal that flows from already being forgiven and united with Christ. Pounding it to people can imply you’re distant, dirty, or on probation with God until you do enough. That’s not the gospel. Forgiveness is once for all. We don’t repent to get cleansed again, we turn because we are already clean and want to enjoy who we are in Jesus. Repentance is a chang

Jesus didn’t just save you and then leave you responsible for keeping yourself saved. He gives us eternal life and promises that His sheep will never perish and no one can snatch them from His hand (John 10:28–29). Our security rests in the sufficiency of our Savior, not the consistency of our performance. You have peace with God. You have eternal life. You have Jesus. You can rest. ❤️

People who preach the true gospel will be accused of promoting sin. The gospel doesn’t produce lawlessness. It produces people who trust in Jesus instead of themselves!

The gospel is simple and its simplicity is a stumbling stock to many. We are saved by Jesus and kept by Jesus. Its grace, start to finish. ❤️

Your righteousness is not achieved by your behavior, so it’s not lost by your behavior. It’s a gift you received the moment you were united with Christ. Sin can distract you, deceive you, and bring earthly consequences, but it can’t undo what Jesus finished. Righteousness is given, not earned. God made you righteous by new birth, not by law-keeping. “By His doing you are in Christ Jesus… who became to us… righteousness” and “apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been manifested” (1 Cor

Some people picture the gospel like God is enlisting you into a spiritual gauntlet—prove yourself, endure, and maybe you’ll make it. But that’s not the good news. The gospel is Jesus with arms wide open saying, I did what you couldn’t. I lived perfectly, died for you, and rose so you could live. This is about coming home, not striving to stay in—resting in your union with Him. And grace doesn’t make you lazy; it produces gratitude, peace, and real love, because you’re finally secure in the Fathe

God didn’t start loving you the day you finally “got it right.” He demonstrated His love for you while you were still a sinner—Christ died for you long before you cleaned yourself up (Romans 5:8). If you’ve said yes to Jesus, you don’t wake up trying to earn love—you wake up already loved. Shame, guilt, and condemnation are not your portion, because Jesus already took the punishment. “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1). You may still have momen

You can’t add to the finished work of Christ. None of your behavior adds to or takes away from the righteousness you received as a gift through faith in Him. Yet when people hear the good news of what Jesus has accomplished, the response is often, “Yeah, but…” followed by an appeal to our behavior, performance, or even the words of Jesus pulled out of their proper context and used to support a Jesus self-effort gospel. Our words reveal where we’re placing our confidence—whether we’re resting in

Follow @akashrec0rds to learn something new everyday ✨ Before earning millions on the big screen, Brad Pitt was hustling in Hollywood just to pay rent. One of his earliest gigs was waving at traffic on Sunset Boulevard dressed in a giant chicken suit to promote El Pollo Loco. He went from dancing on street corners for minimum wage to launching Plan B Entertainment and starring in blockbuster franchises. Today, through box office hits, film production, and business ventures, Pitt has built an emp
