For the second time in its history, the Washington Monument is the backdrop for a projection display. At the top of every hour from 7-10 p.m. now through January 5th, a 25-minute light show celebrating the country’s 250th plays on the iconic monument. Scenes of Paul Revere, Neil Armstrong, and others dance on the Washington Monument as narration tells a version of the country’s story to kick off the U.S.A.’s anniversary.
